Quick explanations:
Forging = to forge in a dream is like shapeshifting
Projections = "are the images of people or objects within dreams that are "projected" by the sleeping subject's subconscious mind." (source: wiki)
Somnacin & PASIV = the drug used to initiate dream sharing and lucid dreaming. The Portable Automated Somnacin IntraVenous Device is designed to deliver it.
Totem = an item that has a trick to it that only you know, to prove that you're in reality. ex. Cobb's top spins and spins in the dream, and topples in reality.
Cobb = the guy in charge, trying to get back to his children
Arthur = second in command. Eames likes to pick on him, and they have a friendly rivalry
Saito = the guy who wants Robert Fischer to divide his father's empire so Saito's company can compete
Robert Fischer = the guy who owns Fischer-Morrow, daddy issues

PERSONALITY:

The first things you probably notice about Eames’ personality are his charm and humor. Charm is a tool, and he wields it well, using it in tense situations, or to help. He also uses humor a great deal, such as when he corners Saito in his forge and startles him before revealing that it’s really Eames, not some random projection accosting him. When Cobb and Arthur are arguing about whether or not they should do ‘Mr. Charles’ (a gambit designed to turn the subject against their own projections) and Arthur says last time it didn’t work, Eames says ‘Excellent, but you learned from that, right?’ It’s another example of Eames turning a tense situation into a lighter one. Morale is important during a job, and Eames isn’t ignorant of it. He’s also very playful with Arthur throughout the process of inception. As someone online once put it (such a good source, I know), it seems like the whole movie amuses Eames, in fact, and this sense of humor is part of what makes this character special. He’s the funny man, the comic relief, and he plays his part so that the others can play theirs.

He’s also charming with how creative and intelligent he is. When Eames says Arthur has no imagination, Cobb says ‘Not like you.’ Eames’ creativity is a huge driving force in the inception job. He thinks outside the box, and this allows him to come up with a number of unconventional ideas that actually work. He comes up with the idea to forge Browning and bring up the idea of the safe that contains a will splitting up the corporation. Then Robert’s projection of Browning will feed that right back to him (aka, Robert will be feeding this right back to himself). It has to seem self-generated, and that’s why it works. Eames also comes up with the idea of ‘I should break up my father’s empire, and make something new for myself’ since Cobb believes in positive emotion and catharsis. Eames is very smart when it comes to figuring out people and manipulating them. He knows a great deal about getting in people’s heads, a true actor to the core. He spouts off phrases like 'anti-monopolistic sentiments' and is very creative at coming up with solutions to their problems in the inception job.

But he doesn’t realize how full of emotions he himself is. He prefers to look at the world with a sense of humor. Humor has always been safer than expressing emotions that are hard for him freely. At the beginning, his comment (‘No room on a job like this for a tourist, Mr. Saito.’) is dismissive and trying to talk him out of it, respectful but cheeky in his use of ‘tourist’. But Saito insists, and Eames has fun with him and grows to be fond of the man. Saito repeats the line back to him as he’s dying, and Eames smiles and says, ‘Don’t be silly.’ And this line, combined with the merry chase part, him checking on Saito, carrying him up out of harm’s way, his compassion for Cobb not getting to see his family, these lines and parts show his big heart. He may be a thief, but he does like the people he works with, is almost affectionate with them in his way, and even feels bad for Cobb, whom it’s apparent that he dislikes him from the beginning. He has a kind soul at the core, even with his mischievous thief side.

There are quite a few weaknesses/flaws worth mentioning here. He’s got dubious morals, in that he’s perfectly willing to go into someone’s mind and mess around in there, steal ideas/information, and plant things. That’s a huge invasion of privacy and well… thievery. He’s also willing to do things in the real world, pickpocketing, forging papers, etc. It’s definitely dangerous and stupid, to be in a career like dream sharing, but he likes to create and be creative, and I see the creativity of the job as his main motive in being involved in dream share. The secondary reason is probably money. They seem to get a lot of money from these jobs, and Eames isn’t immune to the lures of money, especially since he’s a gambler. He also has a fiery temper, getting pissy when angered. He tells off Cobb for not telling everyone that the Somnacin’s (the drug used to dream share) sedative in this job is way too powerful to wake up when killed like normal. They’ll be dropped into limbo, a level of dreaming where you end up if you go too many layers deep (or if you get killed with a heavy sedative), where it’s raw subconscious and landing yourself there could eventually drive you crazy. He’s furious enough to be like ‘I’m outsies’ until Cobb says there’s no way he’ll not get killed and sent to limbo. The only way to move is to keep to the plan. He could also be seen as lacking sincerity. While he sees humor as a shield, people see him putting up walls, and not being serious about important things.

He operates, mostly, by flying by the seat of his pants. He does plan and follow through on plans, but he is very good at being spontaneous and making last minute decisions. And, luckily for him, he’s so good at his job that it rarely bites him in the butt. It makes him a little cocky and full of himself. He enjoys being a bit out there, open with his humor, flirty to all, colorful in his wardrobe, but there’s care to everything he does. His suits, although colorful and with crazy patterns, are carefully chosen. The style he chose is typically American, but it fits his body type more. The colors coordinate. It’s controlled chaos, in a way. And small things throughout the movie show he’s human. His accidental misspelling on a chip, math not being his strong suit (while he might have made this up to get them to spit it out, another trait this shows is that he lacks patience), him missing the solution that Ariadne comes up with at the end, him having trouble fighting the projections at one point. He’s not perfect, and that fact is demonstrated multiple times throughout the movie.

POWERS:
- basic knowledge of how to use a first aid kit, sew up wounds, etc
- decently sneaky
- dreamsharing: he’s adept at using a PASIV for dreamsharing, controlling his level and projections, and creating new worlds and objects.
- forging: he’s also the best at forging within a dream, changing his appearance to deceive a target. He can change his voice, body, probably scent, too.
- thievery: Forging signatures and writing, forging poker chips and papers, probably IDs too, pickpocketing, picking locks probably
- acting: copying actions, mannerisms, movements, playing a part well
- excellent with firearms, snowmobiles, bombs…., traps. Very physically fit and good at hand-to-hand combat and strategy of a fight.
- intelligent and creative, thinks fast on his feet.
- military training (most likely)

MISC
SUITABILITY: Eames is sneaky, a great liar and actor, is talented at fighting, and is rather smart. He's well-suited to the game, I just needed to collect myself as a player to be able to play here. He's made ties here, and those would be important to him. But if he was sure COST was a bad, bad thing, he would turn on them in a wink.

I would also like Eames to retain his memories of his last time here. I dropped with MIA, so it should be fine, I'm thinking.
ITEM: His poker chip, which is his totem
CHARACTER @ID SUGGESTIONS: @CHIPPER, if he may keep his old username
HOW DID YOUR CHARACTER JOIN COST? Originally willingly because they said his children ('s children etc) were deemed bloodline criminals. Eames was suspicious, but he didn't want to miss a threat and get killed in the process.
