Canon Information: Inception wiki and Eames on the wiki
Canon Point: End of the movie
Age: Headcanoned 31
God Houses:

1. Skadi: Eames is an artist above all. He conceals himself by changing his appearance, and treats it like an art form, something to perfect.
2. Tyr: He’s also a charmer, usually using his charm and words before fists. He can think and talk himself out of situations.

Personality: NOTE: this personality section is taken from another app I wrote recently.

Eames is quite the teasing charmer, teasing multiple members of the inception team throughout the movie. In his female forge, he walks in the elevator with Saito, asking for a moment and startling him before showing himself in the mirror, for example. He’s also teasing Arthur when Arthur’s trying to shoot some projections after them. Eames then walks up, takes out a grenade launcher, and says ‘You mustn’t be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.’, blowing them up. He has a good sense of humor and isn’t afraid to use it, sometimes helping ease the tension in a situation, sometimes used to cope with a stressful situation himself.

He's also a pretty smart guy, if you pay attention. In regard to Saito wanting Robert to dissolve his father’s empire, Eames says 'Well, you see right there you have various political motivations and anti-monopolistic sentiments and so forth, but all of that stuff, it’s really at the mercy of your subject's prejudice.', which I mean, that’s some intelligent thinking. He hits it on the head that they need to target the father/son relationship right away when he’s talking to Cobb in their first meeting. He comes up with a good deal of their plan. In fact, toward the beginning of the planning phase, he comes up with the idea to have Robert give himself the idea by suggesting it to him as a forge of his godfather. He also had the forethought to put a shortcut in their maze, which comes in handy when they’re running out of time. He's a very clever man, and he uses that to his advantage. It seems that the creative part of the job is what gets him out of bed in the morning, and the contrast between him and Arthur in the film shows how Eames is excellent at thinking outside of the box in order to get a better result.

He is also sometimes a kind man. Despite obviously disliking Cobb, when they think they’ve failed inception, he says 'It isn't me who doesn't get to see their family, is it?'. Despite all the crap Cobb put him through, he feels bad that Cobb doesn’t get to see his kids. He shows compassion in a moment in which he should be angry that the plan didn’t work. At one point, Saito gets shot, and Eames knows he will eventually die within the dream and maybe will drop into Limbo and be trapped until he goes crazy. He seems concerned about him when he first enters the hospital, and he stops to tell him to hold off the projections while he sets the charges. Earlier, Eames told him there was no room for tourists on this job, and Saito repeats that line now. Eames smiles and says ‘don’t be silly.’ He’s actually got some heart in him, and does attach to people.

Eames has some shaky morals, though. He is, after all, a thief. A dream thief, too. He frequently steals from people, and is shown to steal wallets, forge poker chips, etc. He enters people’s minds and messes around in there without their permission, which is a kind of invasive and can ruin people’s businesses, if they steal information or plant it. He also pretends to be people via forging to manipulate the dreamer. He’ll bend the rules to get what he wants: money, yes, but more importantly, a creative challenge. He gets annoyed and angry when Cobb reveals that they're stuck in Robert’s mind and might end up going crazy, as a result. He even decides to quit working at one point, but Cobb guarantees they'll be finished no matter what if they quit. He seems upset that there’s no other way out, and fumes for a few moments before moving on. His temper flares rarely, but when it does, he doesn’t mince words.

And he can definitely be a jerk in some of the things he does and says. Cobb asks him to distract a guy while he runs, and Eames barely even tries. He also tips Arthur's chair to demonstrate what a kick is. He finds humor in Yusuf testing his compound on Arthur and pushing him out of the chair to prove that the inner ear function remained untampered with. He’s shown smirking as Yusuf giggles in the background. Also, there’s the whole ‘dream thief’ thing. He doesn’t mind being a bit of an asshole, because he can get away with it pretty easily.

Writing Sample:
It’s been a few days since Eames first woke up in Asgard. He wakes now, smiling at the sun streaming through the window. He’s always been a morning person, and so he’s up, showered, fed, and dressed in record time. It’s beautiful outside when he decides to go on a walk, and he spends his time watching other people, thinking and analyzing.

Despite his good mood, he’s put off about being here. It doesn’t seem right that he was taken away from his job. He’d just made a lot of money and was looking forward to spending it on luxury. Now he’s stuck in an unfamiliar place with a lot of questions and not a whole lot of answers. It’s daunting enough that Eames hasn’t even really bothered trying to find explanations yet, preoccupied with getting used to this place.
There’s also the fact that he can’t dream share here. He has no PASIV and even if he did… would it work here? He’s not sure if that’s specific to his world or not. It feels like a piece of him is missing. He wants something to work at, puzzle over, build piece by piece. Here, he has nothing. Nothing to sate his curiosity. Except...

Well, there are a lot of questions to be answered. It’s not really something to build, but it’s intel, research. He’ll see how the people and gods behave and make calculated moves in return. Maybe he’s spent enough time feeling sorry for himself. Now, he needs to work on figuring out the big picture, something he’ll have to be a little stealthy and charming with.

He grins to himself. Maybe he isn’t totally without something to do. He heads for the nearest temple.
